Sledding....

Every year we go down to my mom's house and go sledding up the canyon in Springville! It's a great hill and the kids just love it. At the end of the hill they pile loads of snow at the end because just beyond that hill of snow is a creek. So every year Suzie's husband Luke tries to get over that hill, he made it this year! (the creek is at least 10ft. away from that hill of snow, just in case anyone was worried.LOL)

Madison and her cousin Jaida getting ready to hit the hill!! Jaida was afraid to go down by herself so Maddy was the designated cousin because Jaida can't do anything without Maddy. When we are at grandma's house she occupies Maddy all day. By the time we left Jaida was brave and started going down by herself!

Hayden was totally fearless..I thought he would have to go down the hill with Isaac his cousin or me but he just went for!! At the end of the hill if you don't get up and out of the way before others get down, you kinda can get plowed over. Hayden was that kid! He would roll off the sled and play around and then proceed to get plowed over. He would walk back up and tell me all his wounds he encountered but then leave and do it all over again!!

At least this year my mom didn't dig her heels in the snow as she went down, I happen to be on the sled with her as the snow flew in our faces the whole ride down..we looked like snowmen at the end.


We look forward to this every year and always have new memories to laugh about and remember!!!
